As promised! These pictures are the original character designs did when I first started UIU so there's a few changes I made later on.

Occupation: Human, art student, breather
Likes: small fuzzy animals, ice cream, rain/storms, reading and drawing.
Dislikes:baby humans, mushrooms, mean people

Amelius is an odd girl who hangs out in a cemetery. Why? It's quiet, and no one stares at her weird hairdo. She doesn't go there to be "brooding and gothy" but it was across the street from the guy she had a crush on, and she met her friend Fernando there so she has a reason to come back each time. She's rather laid back in nature and likes jokes. She's a little uptight at times though and not too comfortable with attention, and rather self-conscious to the point of being paranoid of people looking at her (hence, hanging out in a cemetery, none of the residents can see you there!) Not exactly what you'd call the "hugging" sort either. Her general attitude tends to be "sleepy", since she suffers from mild narcolepsy. She's both a pessimist and an optimist.

Fernando Amadeus Fritz
Gender: Male
Occupation: Zombie
Skin: Kinda light-greenish
Hair:jet black
Eyes:bloodshot yellowish
Likes: Brains, Amelius, flowers, and more brains
Dislikes: Worms, rats, vultures, falling apart when it's not for a joke, certain parts falling off.

Fernando doesn't quite know why he rose from the grave. He's been down there for quite a while and it wasn't like the coffin was uncomfortable, but he was in pretty good shape still so he decided why not? He wasn't getting back to sleep any time soon, so he clawed his way out. But then he realized there wasn't much to do above ground either so he wandered around the cemetery until he met a blonde girl with funny hair. Fernando loves bad jokes and puns and will take advantage of his removable body parts for the sake of a laugh. Also, he's just so darn literal at times.
Anything that he removes still functions apart from his body, for instance his eyes can still see (inexplicably!) and his hands can crawl about. They don't hurt when they are pulled off or fall off, but if someone stomps on his wandering hands he will feel it!
And like all zombies, Fernando has a taste for human brains, and will forget himself at the mention of them. He can turn a human into a zombie too but only if he bites them very deep. He can be killed by completely destroying his brain too, but he's more clever than the average zombie to let that happen. Any other injury, including ones where he pulls organs out, appear to "heal" very fast.

Gregory James Farnham
Gender: Male
Skin: fleshy
Hair: brown
Eyes:Beady! Or, dark brown.
Occupation:Grave/ground keeper, friend to Amelius, Fernando and Skylar
Likes: showing off things he can do, talking to people, junk food
Dislikes:when Fernando scares him or detaches something

Gregory was friends with Skylar before he met Fernando and Amelius, but they are more fun to hang out with anyway, even if he doesn't quite get their sense of humor. Whenever he finds something cool he can do he feels compelled to show it off, and whenever he does he's usually met with a bad joke. Will he never learn? Gregory's a nice friendly guy, but he tends to follow others rather than do anything for himself, and he often feels a need to prove himself to others.
He can be like two different people in this case depending on whether he is hanging out with Fernando or Skylar, but he doesn't let their rivalry change his opinion of either of them in the interest of making peace. Because that is what he is, a neutral party and a peacekeeper. And the unfortunate victim of the bad puns ^_^

Skylar Ozmond Bailey
Gender: male
Occupation: cute flaming jerk (and animal shelter volunteer)
Skin: peachy
Hair: Blue (originally brown)
Eyes: golden
Likes: Comics, his hat, his glasses, his coat and his sidewalk.
Dislikes: "weirdos", being pestered, getting his butt kicked

Let's just say it's a nice coincidence his intials stand for...well, you know! The blue haired one had the affections of the young lady who hangs out in the cemetery, but he turned her down because he doesn't quite understand why she hangs out in a cemetery! Only grave diggers, goth weirdos and corpse-loving deviants hang out in a cemetery! Or so it goes in Skylar's mind. Other than that, Sky's a polite guy around his elders, helps little old ladies across the street and helps out at the animal shelter for homeless puppies and kitties. Little is known about what he does besides that though, besides collecting and reading comics in his room.
He's usually calm and collected, and rarely flares up in anger unless he is provoked or strangled.
But sometimes the boy is as cold as ice because he doesn't think certain "people" are worth his time, especially since he's convinced they are up to no good hanging out in the graveyard all day.
He has a reputation to preserve, after all! ( He doesn't know that many other people though...)
