I gotta find out how people take pictures of these sorts of things, cuz these pictures just don't look as good as the actual thing. Argh and things started curling for the pictures! Oh well.
He originally had pipecleaner teeth but I couldn't fit all 17 or so in there and the crappy pipecleaners kept losing fuzz, so I used fabric paint. So I had the chance to leave him "toothless" because they're retractable in the movie, but I couldn't, I like teeth! Lots of teeth!
The hardest part was his face. For some reason he just didn't look at all like the character until the very end, when something just finally clicked. I pulled out his eyes at least 4 times trying to get it right! He's got a tongue in there too that is kinda hard to see in the photos, and his mouth closes somewhat as well. Then it pops open again because it was wrenched open for so long for the various dental works
Obviously, it's fan art for the movie "How to Train Your Dragon". I reeeeally liked this character. But I'm not buying any of the toys, because they only sell them in hell- I mean Walmart. And I am NOT going to help them kill Toys R Us! So I made my own dragon to play with. *sigh*
So credit time: Character belongs to Dreamworks, Chris Sanders and sort of the lady who wrote the book even if it's not the same character design >^_^<
